Black screenshot in Windows 10? Here is what I did to solve this problem. The device works great, but the software is a bit clunky. It often becomes unresponsive when using Windows 10 Pro version 20H2 and requires a reboot to restore functionality (a simple finishing task won't help). I had a solid black screen for a while, but I found that if I open the software WITHOUT clicking Capture, then open VLC and open Media > Capture Device (select Video/Audio "ezcap"), the device wakes up Drivers, then go back to the software and click Acquire, you can see what you are working with. Once you stop recording, you need to close the recording and repeat the steps by opening the VLC device recording, then go back to the software and record again. You can use VLC to record if you want, but VLC's way of recording doesn't seem to be very optimized and some of my files are 30-40 gigabytes for a 10 minute video. This device itself works great, but I only give 3 starts. for the poor quality of the software.
