I drive a Hyundai Elantra which I think has one of today's standard mirrors: Blue Link / Onstar - you know, a fat mirror with buttons underneath. Well, this thing expands, but the hand/claw that grabbed the mirror pushes the buttons on the mirror. You have to push the claw to one side or the other, which will throw it off balance. Then you need to adjust the bottom part that holds your real phone for a lever. And, oh yeah, no girly phone cases - they have to be removed or the bottom flap won't be able to hold your phone. Conclusion: It works, but you have to unscrew it to do so.
