These work well for my 16 ga 100-ft extension cords. If you have thicker cords, not sure how well these would hold up as the straps seem to be medium duty. They don't have that "solid heft" feel.However, since I don't have any super-duty outside use extension cords that are 12/14 ga thickness, I really can't comment. However for 16/18 ga indoor use extension cords 50/75/100 ft lengths are no problem. This really helps to keep them organized; especially, if you have someplace to hang them. Carrying them around is a lot nicer/easier too.Would recommend.
