Fit and finish is definitely worse given the bearings, pump and tensioner. Unfortunately, the tensioner could not hold together for long and failed after about 500 miles. The timing belt hadn't come off its teeth yet (the belt lock was doing its job) but it was noisy and the tensioner was leaking oil. I did NOT squeeze the plunger at all, just pulled the pin back once so I didn't screw it up. I replaced it with a set from a reputable brand and the quality is noticeably better, I suspect it will last a while too.
