Perfect. Very happy. Highly recommended.

I service the brakes on several vehicles myself. Have used other brands of pads/rotors and will never do so again. It's not worth saving a few bucks on other brands or your local auto parts store. I also spent more for significantly less performance. Installed this kit a few weeks ago on a 2006 Acura TL 6MT (this kit fits the large Brembo brakes, not the stock brakes that come with the automatic transmission). Very happy. But I'm not surprised. Installed the same brand (certainly not this kit) on Honda Odyssey, Mazda 6 and Buick LeSabre. In case you haven't guessed, that's my brake. On a handsome odyssey, the front brake pads lasted 2 years/33,000 miles. Then I cleaned the calipers and replaced the pads with the same ones (without polishing the rotor). New pads were installed and after 2.5 years the properties remain excellent without deformation. I've had these front rotors on an odyssey for nearly 70,000 miles. They were also 63,000 miles behind. 1 time the pads were exchanged for the same ones. Maintain your calipers regularly and you will be very satisfied. No brake pads/discs survive poor caliper maintenance. Braking performance is excellent - you need to adjust your braking habits. Thoroughly clean the discs (surfaces that the pads come in contact with) with a paper towel and plenty of brake fluid before installation. Cleaner to remove the protective oil film from the manufacturer. Continue brushing until no more residue comes off. You want a truly flawless bedding surface. Follow bedding instructions carefully. Do not screw it in as it will properly seat the pad material into the rotor. Finally, allow to cool as instructed without stepping on the brakes. Not a complaint, just an observation. The only thing you'll notice is a faint hum when braking (proportional to braking force). I think it's the slots. Minimal dust. Non-contact surfaces do not rust.

Pros
  • Brake system
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
