I wasn't sure what to expect from this cheap phone mount but it really didn't work well. I believe part of this may be due to my iPhone XS Max being too heavy. The attachment method is a simple friction ring that fits over the top of the eyepiece and a knob to tighten the knot. This may seem insufficient. In any case, the biggest problem is that it is almost impossible to place the camera lens flat on the eyepiece and because of this, images are never as sharp as they seem when viewed directly through them. Telescope. The picture of the moon posted this morning is as good as I could get. I even tried recording videos and adding frames, it didn't get any better. The equipment used was a Meade ETX60 and a 16mm lens. I will continue to work with this setup, but I no longer have any real hope that it will produce anything of value. In fact, I can take better pictures of the moon just by pointing my phone at the sky.
