I was looking for a way to keep my 32 ounce water bottle in place in the car. It's definitely big enough to accommodate. However, I found 2 problems, the first being that the bottle falls out when full. I think this could be solved if the "pips" were a bit higher. Second, because the bottle is heavy and the device can rotate when I make a turn, it tends to rotate under gravity. This can be fixed by locking the device if necessary. Overall I'm happy with it. I was able to mount it easily with the extra washers provided, and no matter how you cut it, it's so much better than a bottle flying all over the car! If you have less than a half-gallon water bottle, you most likely won't encounter any of these problems.
