The table top is factory bolted to a pair of rods. But all the screws have been snapped off so the top won't hold up unless you attach it some other way. Not all of the shelf holes were drilled correctly, so one corner of the middle shelf is 1/2 inch higher than the other. three corners (no assembly problem). I say avoid - not worth the money unless you are handy and nothing else is available.
