Firstly, the glasses have a large polarization. And make a dark situation appear brighter. Because the design contrasts so strongly with the eye. I have a much more expensive set of these low light goggles and love them for Fitch, Dusk and Dawn. They are Costa brands. I live with them but I will not use them under any machine working in my wood shop. Enter this set! Works just like my $250 Costa set but I'm not worried about them breaking.
