Lid won't close

I bought this for cloth napkins. I use the solution on my wipes. According to the written description I had a good feeling buying this provided my damp cloth wipes would stay wet due to the snap on lid. There is a seal inside, but the lid only rests on top. There is a latch or clasp to prevent it from opening. It does the job but I'm afraid it will dry out if I use enough wipes to fill in.
