I very much doubt that this will really work on my hair. I have hair down the middle of my back, thick, coarse, slightly curly hair. I was pleasantly surprised that he did a good job. I'm not looking for straight hair (I have straighteners for that), but I want to be able to control my hair so it doesn't get frizzy. and then used the device in a slow, sequential downward motion over each section. 2 passes were required for each section. The whole haircut took me about 20 minutes, about 5 minutes more than with a flat iron. My hair is much more controlled and I've even had comments on how good it looks! I love that it's USB rechargeable, it's a fantastic tool for vacations or overnight trips and it takes up almost no space! The only problem I had was that it wouldn't turn on after charging when I first used it. I plugged it in for about 30 seconds, unplugged it and it worked fantastic! I really recommend it. This is a travel game changer.
