That's a good roulette. I like: the hook that doesn't stretch much on each side of the band, the FIVE rivets on the hook, the easy locking of the band, the tension of the spring is just right so it pulls the band in but doesn't snap it back into place and the size is comfortable in my hand. I don't like: the edge of the hook covering all tape measure marks up to 1/4 inch and that there is no way to get an accurate reading on the tape when the tape is used to measure the inside measurements. - There is simply no flat surface on the front of the case to match the markings on the tape. I would say I like it a bit more than the DeWalt (good tapes) I've been using for a while Level of experience is my 43rd year in the business as a carpenter Update: After using this tape for some time I found that there is a real problem with the very poor quality of the blade itself. It bends and breaks too easily Love this tape measure, but it's not half as durable as the same DeWalt tape measure. Avoid this tape measure.
