The product should be new but it is used. When I took it out of the box, there were dried pieces of orange on the disc holder that looked like dried carrots. I also found some of the same dried carrots on an angel hair clipper. Imagine my surprise when I opened the included recipe book and found the same dried carrots on one of the pages. Oh, and low, and lo and behold, the recipe called for 2 large carrots. I am not very pleased that I have been sold a new product that has clearly been used.
