I bought this to replace the device I returned due to a battery problem. This device has a good battery, holds a charge much longer. I played 18 holes 3 times a week without reloading. You should turn off golf mode shortly after finishing a game as it uses more GPS power. I give 5 stars. My additional report: After using this replacement device for a few months, the center button stopped working. A golf course was found and listed, but I couldn't select a course because the button didn't work no matter how many times I pressed it. What a disappointment! i throw it away
