Kids love it. BUT.: my feedback

UPDATE BELOW***Very smooth and seemingly sturdy hover board. It's quiet, smooth and easy to control. The kids whip around like crazy on it.The only possible negative I can see so far (it's been a month of constant use) is that the gap in between the two halves, the center of the board, is a little loose. It sags a touch in the middle. We have not exceeded the weight limit since none of mu kids are heavy enough. It doesn't seem to effect the control of the board at all. Not yet anyway.I might be able to tighten it up if possible.Either way, no issues in usage and the kids can't stay off the thing for 10 seconds.UPDATE:Thing basically started falling apart. It started to sag in the middle so I figured that it just needed the screws tightened. There are 4 screws holding each side (at the middle) together. 3 of the screws on one side were unable to be tightened because they were stripped. So I took that side apart to see what happened and I saw some of the worst engineering I've ever seen. The only thing holding this thing together is 4 screws that mount the axle to either side and they screw in to cheap brittle plastic. The plastic was all broken or cracked. This thing was not built to last a few months at best. I tried reinforcing the plastic by adding liquid plastic and spending hours trying to fix it. It didn't last long.I finally had the idea to use hose clamps to cinch the plastic together as seen in my pic.It works great and the thing is like new, no sagging.I recommend you do this whether yours is sagging or not because it will be.Kids still love it by the way.

Pros
  • Reliable and sturdy construction
Cons
  • Inaccurate distance and speed readings
