I have an old (Late 2013) Macbook Pro that still works like a charm (ahh, the good ole if the company I work for you would give up an old laptop if you've upgraded to a newer version (obviously they changed that policy a long time ago), the only thing is that the battery doesn't last more than an hour, so it needs to be constantly connected to the network. Trade-in value on Apple's website was $85 I will not use the full price of this laptop for an OEM charger I have 2 OEM chargers and they both have damaged cables Yes this charger has a shorter cable but... for my use (my office) it works great for 1/4 the oem price charges fast there is no problem with a full charge when the macbook is plugged into it works great for my e needs.
