I love the performance of these calipers. I needed a rechargeable kit because my other batteries were draining too quickly and this fitted the bill. I knew I would have to pay a little more for it, and that's okay. My problem and the reason for the 3 star rating is that the number on the screen jumps +/- 0.03mm when constantly pressed against the workpiece. No doubt you can get accurate readings from this tool, but the fact that it jumps +/- from the number you're actually reading is annoying. former. If I measure something 15.10mm it shows 15.10 for half a second then flashes 15.07 then 15.10 then 15.13 and so on. It really only stays on the exact reading for half a second. I know this might not guarantee 3 stars for some people, but for me it makes it hard to read at a glance.
