I had my doubts that these would protect my hands, but they surprised me.
I have no intention of testing these at 900 degrees F., but I can assure you that I did not feel the heat when removing a 500-degree F. Dutch oven. I was impressed.In addition to the silicone dots on the outside, they have a lining on the inside to protect your hands. Yet, they are still flexible enough that you can function around a stove, oven, or grill.Now, maybe I will not singe the hair on my hands the next time I light the propane fire pit. The flareup made a good case for wearing good, protective gloves.Highly recommend. Try them.
