I decided to try this new Made in USA Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste because I've been using a different brand of Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste for a while. I didn't like this toothpaste as it doesn't foam at all. Need another gum like xanthan gum to give it more substance and thickness. There are also ingredients in this toothpaste that are of concern. Wintergreen, Himalayan pink salt and bentonite contain high amounts of aluminum. Aluminum contributes to many problems, including Alzheimer's disease. Another issue is the amount of abrasives this toothpaste contains. Not sure why this product requires chalk (calcium carbonate), sand (silica) and baking soda to effectively remove plaque? The carbonate is more than enough to get rid of tartar while remaining slightly abrasive. I recommend buying the Singapore brand Pearlie White instead, which you can get at Revain. I've been using this toothpaste for several years.
