Ever since I bought a new car I've been having issues with Android Auto, my phone won't connect or loses connection frequently and it's been a real headache. I had a lot of troubleshooting and let me tell you I should have started with the USB cable right away! Anyway, I finally looked at someone's review of USB cables, this person had the same auto android issues as me. did, and he looked at several USB cables in this video and came to the conclusion that he needed to buy the Anker ii+ (other Anker cables might work now, but I chose the one shown). Finally, I'm such a happy camper these days, I no longer have issues with Android Auto clipping and losing my maps, my music, etc. ALL thanks to this Anker USB cable! I will never buy a cable again, they put me in my place and I've learned my lesson. (Fast charging and other quality features are a bonus, I'm really happy to have my cards and music back in my car :) )
