Review on Accurate and Convenient: Introducing the Topeak Smart Head Digital Air Pressure Gauge by John Douglas

I actually have an old one. It's exactly the same but under the Next Smart Gauge brand. It's very accurate, but I've always been frustrated by the near impossibility of getting readings on the Presta valves without releasing a significant amount of air. The problem is that the middle gauge needle gets stuck and presses against the Presta stem. Doesn't clean properly. Maybe some people don't have problems because some sensors don't freeze. After years of frustration, I found a solution today. Mount it on the Presta, press down on the brass needle with a toothpick or similar, then twist it on the Schrader while holding the needle. The arrow stays depressed and it is now easy to take accurate readings from the Presta valves without deflating. Twist it back to Presta and then back to Schroeder so the needle pops out for Schroeder's reading. Yesterday I would have given 2 stars but this simple fix makes it a good benchmark for me so I'm giving 4. It takes 1 point to turn it off and back on to do a second reading anyway so I'm guessing that it really is 3.5 stars.
