I bought this for my fiancee to use with the Altec Lansing IMT620 InMotion Classic iPod Dock 30 - Contact Connector. We didn't want to throw away a great radio just because the connector is no longer supported. Make sure your dock is powering the 30-pin connector (if it charges your iPod when it's plugged in, you should be fine). I plugged it in, connected straight away and the sound quality was great. There are also more expensive adapters on Amazon, but save your money. This does everything I need and is very discreet!
