The best thing about this product is that it works without any fuss. You connect the camera via an HDMI port and a USB cable and you have a very high quality webcam. With good lighting, your zooms/hangouts/skypes will look like you're a model in the studio. With more and more business transacted through video, it's like dressing up for success. All video conferencing software and OBS will recognize your camera perfectly. On the downside, as others have pointed out, the metal body gets so hot that this little gem draws serious USB power. It would be nice if there was a switch included for that price. I consider a USB switch or power strip a disconnect point because you definitely don't want to leave it plugged in when not in use (especially on a constant-power USB port) and wear out the USB port on an expensive device. that's not a good idea.
