I got tired of lugging my Rockfish dongle between Kodi Box and PC, so I bought it because it was only $7. I made the mistake of installing it on a Windows computer instead of a Kodi/Linux computer. I tried the generic windows drivers and they couldn't detect my headphones. I installed the software on the CD for this dongle and it was able to see my Roku box but not my headphones. After hours of frustration I tried it on a Kodi box and it worked fine. The problem had to be solved. Uninstall the new adapter software and now the generic drivers are messed up and the Rockfish Dongle is now not working on the PC. Check Device Manager and there are now two new drivers along with generic Bluetooth drivers. I can't delete them, they come back after deleting them. I tried reinstalling the crappy bluetooth dongle software but it still didn't work. So now I have two dongles that only work with my Kodi box and Bluetooth on the PC doesn't work for either dongle. I have tried reinstalling the software from the CD but it has always worked except the BT GUI is very primitive now. It seems to connect automatically now instead of having to turn it on via settings like the old key. I really didn't want all that extra software on my computer. I would prefer something that uses generic Windows drivers like the Rockfish key. I don't recommend this if you have a Windows machine. If you want something simple and plug-play, read the reviews and find out what works by just plugging it in. You don't need to install drivers from a disc. If you run this on a well-supported Linux OS, everything should work fine. My Kodi Box sets it up automatically. It just worked. It took me a whole day to get this thing up and running. Spend another 7-10 dollars to avoid this hassle.
