I bought this case before buying the iPad because I felt it worked the best and was the best value for money. It comes with a screen protector. The sides are soft and elastic. This iPad belongs to my hyperactive and busy 2 year old and it does more than it should haha. It's their favorite gadget and it's easy for them to pick up and take with them, open and close the stands, and protect against falls! I took my iPad out of the case twice to check it out. Perfect condition and not a single scratch. Sure, dust and dirt gets in, but it's minimal enough that I can handle what it actually does to save that investment.
