Item arrived with an incredibly strong chemical/rubber smell. As soon as I opened the package I had to wash my hands to get rid of the smell. I thought if you spread the item out in the basement it will weather. However, it just filled the basement with smell and I didn't notice any noticeable reduction in smell after a few days. I decided I couldn't leave this item behind. I know this may not matter to most users and the item may be ok if it releases gas for a long period of time. However, if for some reason you are sensitive to smells, this may not be for you.
