I ordered it in bulk based on the reviews. I had to return to the carrier. The medium fits my skinny 9 year old who still wears small/medium or 7/8 boy clothes. If your child wears a size 10, I would choose the large one. The clasps work well, wash well, are warm without being too bulky and the red is definitely maroon but we love it. I would buy it again when my kid grows up.
