Having become accustomed to quality gun belts that cost a lot more than this belt, I was hoping for more but was not disappointed. This model is worth its price. While not thick or stiff enough to carry a handgun, it matched my uniform pants. It's hard to find a good 3/4 inch belt. This model is very well made. Basket weaving is clear and well defined. The color is deep maroon just like the picture shows and the buckle is smooth and rounded. The essence of this belt is worth its value and the right tool for the job. A star was for the fat. I feel like the 3/4" strap needs a little more "meat" to hold its shape (IMO) with flashlight support, keys, multipliers, bear spray, etc.
