I have an iPad Pro 12.9 3rd and 2nd gen and my iPhone X. Firstly it solves the problem of one USB port and multiple devices as I can charge all three at night by my bed with one cable . It supports charging my partner's iPhone and mine in the car. The magic of a string is fantastic. Second, I've had no luck with USB-C cables or magnetic tips to charge my 3rd gen iPad. This cable easily charges it and several other devices. Besides, it's fantastic. For those who don't know, USB ports in your car or third-party devices must have a corresponding amplifier output, otherwise even the best products will not work as described. Thing is, my car USB has a 1 amp output so I use a 3.0 (2.4a) fast charge adapter in an outlet and it works great. The bottleneck can be a cable or a connector. This cable is very cable! I'm sorry I spent so much money on other cables. I now have one of these in my computer bag, at home, at work, and in the car!
