Review on RCA 9-Inch Portable DVD Player with Extra 9-inch Screen (DRC79982) by Mike Pearson

A little apprehensive about buying a refurbished product but so far so good! It saved our lives on our 16 hour trip (one way)! All the time it worked perfectly without any problems. A few issues I had were that there is no volume control on the remote, making it difficult to adjust the volume as I had to half-climb in the back seat to each monitor to adjust the volume if needed; Another issue I had was that the cables connecting the two screens were a problem and got in the way because my daughter is still in the rear-facing car seat. So the wires were crossed from the passenger side headrest to the rear driver side headrest and could be pulled out while driving but nothing wrong with the product just a minor annoyance I wanted to point out. Luckily we also had a socket on the back seat, otherwise the cord would not have been pulled from the front to the back. The instructions were a bit confusing when assembling as they were wrong in the manual. You must connect the power cord to the non-DVD player (secondary) and power the main unit when using both screens. If you only use the home screen, you can connect it directly to it. And finally, the images on the main screens were not as clear as on the additional block. Almost like an old school image on the main screen and a newer LED image on the secondary screen. I hope I didn't make it too confusing lol. Overall this is a great product for the price and works as advertised. I would buy again! If I find any problems I will repost!
