I had one of these years ago and when it broke I didn't buy it again. I've only used a manual one which eventually broke making opening cans almost impossible. I bought another manual can opener that also broke after a year. It could still be used, but not easily. My hand clenched every time I tried to open the can. Hence the power order for the can opener. I don't know if that's great or if I'm just glad to have another newcomer. It's not very big, so it won't open high banks. But it works great for regular 8 ounce cans.
