Screen protector works great. It's probably the best thing I've ever bought (I've bought maybe 8 in my life). It's bright when you look straight into it, but you can't see anything at an angle of about 45 degrees. Don't worry about the person next to you in the conference room looking at your notes. The only downside (which I can live with) is that the keyboard/lid doesn't close very well because the magnetic field isn't strong enough. This isn't a problem for me as the Surface Pro turns on and off anyway (just the keyboard doesn't hold up well). I recommend.
