The protrusions are too short to hold the bracelet properly.

speaks for itself. The protrusions are too short to properly hold the strap from frequent loosening and falling out. I even tried using 2 of them. Unfortunately, Garmin doesn't just sell strap holders (at least not the ones I've found) and can't find a strap holder with a matching lip. So I decided to buy a whole new band. It seems silly and wasteful that nobody seems to be making a suitable aftermarket holder.
