The corduroy fabric is thin ribbed and not as thick as most corduroy. Because of this it drapes nicely. It has pockets that don't add bulk on your hips. This skirt is comfortable and cute. It has a button waistband with a gathered skirt. The back of the waistband is elastic. Olive Green is as shown. It laundered according to instructions. There were some wrinkles from shipping that didn’t wash out, so I used an iron. It looks good now. I’m not sure it will need ironing after this. It is warm and the length is past the knees. I think it looks great with short sweaters, or tops tucked in, tights and boots or booties. I wasn’t sure I was going to like this when I pulled it out of the package. But when I got it on, I really like it. I think it's quite fashionable and so comfy for cooler weather. This is a skirt you could wear for many years; it's not going out of style.
