Take this from a broke mom, WORTH EVERY PENNY! I have a 2 year old Houdini monkey. For a single mom of 4, spending $80 on a giant laundry basket seemed outrageous. I put it off for months. Then my 2 year old stepped up his escape game and started exiting the "child proof" locked room. She went downstairs, climbed onto the counters (it can be seen from the cameras), turned on the gas stove (did not light it). Worst of all was waking up to the ringing and then at 4am - she pushed the toy chair, undid the latch and chain and went out to ring the bell. ((Heart attack!)) And it was the first day of **11 DAYS WITH NO SLEEP**! The paranoid doesn't even begin to describe it. But in short, the fatigue became so severe that it seriously affected my physical condition - I had occasional chills, muscle aches. i was scared I couldn't stand it and ordered this tent. She arrived a day earlier than expected (the Universe heard my screams!). I expected a fight from a tiny terrorist but she LOVES HER FORT! 20 minutes there and she passed out. No fuss, no fight. SHE SLEEPS ALMOST 11 HOURS! I, still paranoid, kept waking up and checking on her. I actually checked to see if she was still alive. Day 2: Still no problems with the tent. Didn't even try to get out. Mother and children are alive, rested and safe.
