I have used several kitchen scales and this one was as good as or better than scales I have had in the past. I mainly use it to measure my groceries or weigh packages in the mail. The numbers are bright and easy to read. It's very easy to switch between units, which is especially handy if your food label says grams, ounces, or whatever. The size is really big. One problem I've had in the past is that when I put a dish on the scale, it sometimes obscures the display. I was able to put a standard 9 on my plate and still have no trouble seeing the number on the scale. (For reference, my review shows a smaller tea plate.) It's still small enough not to take up much space in my closet. I like that she will weigh up to 20 pounds. It's good for groceries, but I sometimes use it to weigh packages that I ship.
