Not enough power to power laptop

Looks great, very durable, love that it has USB ports including a USB-C port for fast charging and a USB-C port data port. However, when I plugged my laptop into the USB-C port, I found that I couldn't charge the laptop. Upon closer inspection, I found that the Dell laptop requires a 65W charger, while the stand only puts out 24W. It would be nice to know this in advance.
