These are the cutest and smallest bows! They say they are good for NB but my daughter is 3 months old and still rocks them! She has curly hair but the texture is good and it stays in place. I love the bright colors and how delicate they are. As mentioned, they don't come in pairs, which is a little disappointing. For that reason I took a star off it. & Since the clip is metal it should not cause any pain or discomfort as long as you take the section of hair you wish to use and gently pinch it together with both hands.
