Worked great for the first time, taught the dog to go around the fence. But after my initial training and personal trust in the system, it stopped working and eventually my dog will learn to approach safely and jump off the line again. An expensive product that only lasted 6-9 months before failing. Discuss whether to buy another one. I had the device for about 3 months before the first battery gave out. I even survived 2 battery changes. But now 6-9 months have passed and the collar just stopped working. Tried new batteries with no success. The fence transmitter box was without power along with the collar but still no luck. (O-ring is in excellent condition, no signs of damage inside or out.)
