This is a really good mount for the price. I used 4 of these on a custom made board to project onto my windows for Halloween. I was going to use it without the extension but the mount has actually changed since the instructions were printed. It can still be used without the extension, but it needs a little "adjustment" to do so, and the element that attaches to the projector's "arms" bends/twist a little. But it still works and keeps the projector safe. I decided to write this review to show people how I put the pieces together and used screws to "pull in" a piece that was too wide causing it to break. turn around a bit. But it still holds the projector in place, which is my main concern. Overall this is a well made and very good mount for the price.
