And while mine fit, I wouldn't wear anything heavier than leggings. And that's okay. I think my main issue with these things is that they feel stiff. The freedom of movement I want when using them (and I use them for cross country and cross country) just doesn't feel right. Maybe I should think. And I have to find out. I will put them on and give them some range of motion exercises at home and if they are too restrictive I will enlarge them. As casual wear for daily activities, they are perfect. But I might have to go to S to get the range of motion I want from them. Otherwise they look very cute. I mean if you are looking for a cute pant for winter trips around town or whatever these are for you. I can't say how waterproof they are yet. I'm guessing they're kind of waterproof, but not really waterproof based on other reviews. I didn't need a hard waterproofing so it wasn't much of a problem anyway.
