Review on 🍳 Lodge Manufacturing Silicone Hot Handle Holder, 3-Inch, Red - Functional Heat-Resistant Grip for Cookware Handles by Chuck Wooten

I got this because it's obvious that Lodge cast iron heats up quickly. The problem I have with this is that my hand is still very uncomfortable when it gets hot. I can still feel heat through that fairly thin handle, so I still have to use a towel or oven mitt to move it. It also doesn't slip off as easily, which is annoying when you want to clean the pan and doubly annoying when you want to put it in the oven, especially if you forgot to cook the pan on the stove and preheat it beforehand you tried removing the handle. It would probably be worth it if it was thicker and easier to put on and take off, but I think I'd just stick with an oven mitt or towel if I got another pan. The rest is very high quality and not very expensive.
