My Ring Doorbell broke a few months ago so I bought this to replace it. I kind of liked the ring, but I didn't like that the ring didn't have local storage and it was a hassle to take it off to charge (the mechanism wasn't very friendly). I'm surprised this doorbell works better either way, especially when it's cheaper than the ring. The installation is very easy. It's easier to turn it on and off to charge. One feature I like the most is how you can pre-record a greeting or instruction for routing drivers. The app works well, no problems so far. Now I just have to see if the battery lasts as long as advertised. My ring didn't last long and I often had to charge it. Hope this one holds up better.
