Review on πŸ“ Huepar Self Leveling Three Plane Alignment: Accurate Test, Measurement & Inspection Tool by Brian Rivenbark

Adjusted almost perfectly, laser receiver added separately

My company recently purchased a red Bosch three line laser level and plumb bob. This machine is much better. Pros: 1. Green laser with 3 x 360 lines printed all over and EASILY seen compared to red lasers. The smallest setting moves the line 6 inches per foot farther than you intended. Huepar's fine adjustment allows for very fine hairline adjustments, making it a dream come true compared to the bosch.3. Huepar's fine tuning allows horizontal, vertical and pitch adjustments. I can't get enough of one day using this tweak tool. Really very good.4. That thing is pretty cool. Bosch wasn't there. We bought boxes of foam to cut and it must have cost over 40+ just from port shipping. By the way, if you look at my photo, I bought a Huepar laser line receiver that attaches separately to the measuring ruler, pushed aside its green plastic receiver plate, and cut out the foam to accommodate my laser receiver. Foam rubber is easy to cut and turns out beautifully.5. You have to lick the device to turn it off. This is not specific to Bosch and I think this could be a problem for Bosch in the future. I think if it were always blocked there would be less chance of accidental damage. Cons: only one so far. The Bosch device is equipped with a small plastic magnetic adapter that allows you to attach the device to the wall with a magnet. Any drywall with an outside corner should have a metal corner bead. The Bosch device attaches to the wall without using nails or screws to hold the device. Huepar may offer a similar item, but in this kit the magnetic plate is part of a great fine tuner. The weight of the spirit level AND the fine adjustment controller is too heavy in most cases, which can cause the device to slip or fall. If you want to protect the device from falling, you need to put a nail or screw to prevent the device from falling. The unit is designed to take a nail or screw for extra support, eliminating the need for rigging. This little scam doesn't change the rules of the game. I still prefer this device to any other device I've seen. I'll look for a better solution with a magnetic piece, but a small hole for a nail is fine too. All in all a fantastic product. Aside from my only scam, I don't know of a better product that's even twice the price.

Pros
  • βœ”οΈDUAL POWER METHODS AND TYPE-C CONNECTION: The Huepar laser tool uses a high capacity lithium battery (easily purchased locally) for 6 hours of operation with all beams on. An additional battery is included for backup. In addition, this laser tool can be used in the workplace by plugging it in and removing the battery. With the Type-C charging port, the laser can also be charged by phone, laptop, power bank, car charger, etc. Users can charge the battery themselves with the included charger.
