I love this kettle. Cute as long as it doesn't scratch (although I'm pretty gentle with it). Be careful, when I first used this kettle and the water was ready, I poured some water into the coffee filter and then lit the kettle again. The kettle splashed water everywhere, even on the hand (boiling water). Somehow I managed not to get a horrible burn or scar but wow. I've since learned to either turn off/lower the heat or wait a few minutes and then slowly put the kettle back on when it gets cold. This happened unexpectedly (and not over the flames) a few more times. I've never used a gooseneck kettle, so it's probably common knowledge.
