Nice valve! in bath faucets and shower heads

It arrived quickly, sturdy and good quality, it can be used in a small space. I wanted to install a shut-off valve for a sink in a bathroom or toilet. This is a small room. My tubing is half an inch. I want half an inch for the male and female ends. It was difficult to find valves this size in my area. Many valves use handles or large knife valves, they probably won't fit in my limited space. It worked wonderfully. Defect; I'm a handyman, I don't often do plumbing. I saw a photo of the rubber washer and figured I could install it without sealing the threads against leaks. Wrong thought. The connection is leaking. Threads must be sealed. Well, there were no instructions, no words about the need to seal the threads, but Teflon tape was in the kit, I didn't notice right away. I put tape on it, it's still leaking. If you just use pipe sealant/grease paste it will still leak. My local plumber advised me to start over, clean the threads and apply paste to the threads and then tape over the paste 3 or 4 times or more. It worked! The valves turned out to be quite rigid, they were not damaged by several turns of the key. Be careful, new valves are hard to open, you wonder if you turn them right, so pay attention, think about how you turn the valves. Twist a few times to loosen.
