Let me start by saying that a perfectly adequate Roon endpoint can be purchased for $40 (Google Chromecast Audio, buy it while it lasts). You can also combine the Stream Box Ultra S2 feature with a very cheap RPi. Issues I'm having: 1) Identifies my DAC (SU-8) but reports Roon incorrectly 2) No setup instructions, see Roon support page before tearing your hair out 3) Performance over WiFi up to Google Chromecast in 40 Dollar equivalent (96kHz PCM Audio) 4) NO phone support from Pro-ject or its US partner Sumiko 5) WiFi does not support 5G 6) Wired Ethernet port does not support 1000BaseTX The price is absurd for what you get.
