My dogs love them. Very soft and warm for my older dog who digs. My large breed dog loves using it as a sort of binky. The Sherpa side holds pet hair and doesn't expect it to be cleaned up. Hang to dry or the sherpa side will fall off and fill the lint trap. The air dries up quickly. My dog got wet on one side but didn't get wet on the other side. Not sure if this is waterproof as the wet side was still wet and if your dog is left in the cage he will still be on the wet blanket. But perfect for just snuggling up on the couch. My dogs love them but they are not rated waterproof.
