I have a red orange tree growing in my garden that has produced many oranges this year, so I decided to squeeze some juice and freeze it. Before this juicer, I bought another device that stopped working the second day I used it after squeezing out 2 liters. The same thing happened with the replacement unit that the manufacturer sent me. Then I decided to try Homeleader for about $10 more than another brand. I've used this juicer about ten times and squeezed out 4-6 qts. juice every time. I now have about 12 gallons in the freezer. PROS: Powerful motor that won't burn out after a few pints of juice, easy to operate; place an orange/lemon/grapefruit half on the shaker and press down - let the machine do all the work - two plastic holders (for large/small fruit) that only rotate clockwise (fewer moving parts) - adjustable strainer to Setting the amount Desirable pulp - I like pulp and works well - Very easy to clean. All plastic parts that come in contact with fruit are removable for cleaning in the sink - Juice drain tube lifts up and stops any flow/drip when the glass or juice container is removed - Four suction cups keep the device on any smooth surface. Table top, marble or laminate while in use, - Power cord about 30 inches long - enough for me, - Transparent lid for storage or when not in use, - Nice looking machine - not too big but not too small. A bit noisy but I can live with that. If you try to watch TV or listen to music while using it, increase the volume a few steps. Don't think that this will wake up the hostess in the morning when you serve breakfast in bed. CONCLUSION: Good value for money. Happy with the purchase - will buy again. Would recommend to a friend.
