I don't use these blades for the car, I use them for adjusting the mechanics on the guitar (this use is in the description) but they were soaked in oil so I had to use them first to clean. You have to loosen the screw to make them move, but there isn't much room for that. At first I thought I might have a used set as many of the numbers on the blades have faded but it's cheap enough to keep. I won't use it very often, but if I do, the thinnest blades probably won't last long, they're very brittle.
